• Professor of Forensic Science and Criminal Justice, St. Edwards University (SEU), Austin, TX. Helped establish Forensic Science Undergraduate Degree Program.

• Director of Forensic Science Division, Austin Police Department. Managed forensic science services provided to the City of Austin. Created all civilian crime scene unit, established DNA Laboratory, helped draft Texas Senate Bill 638 (Collection of DNA Upon Arrest, Indictment or Conviction, 2001), responsible for funding and construction of state-of-the-art forensic science center.

• Special Agent/USAF Officer, Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). Commanded investigative units in the US and overseas. Conducted, supervised and managed felony investigations (crimes against people, property, counterintelligence and counterespionage investigations).
